Today marks my 27th birthday and I had a surprise the previous night ! Never in my life has someone surprise me on my Bday! And yes now it's history because my beloved girl just did it ! Who will appear oposite your block on the same level at 12 midnite with a bday neon light board ! Yes my gf does and it really caught me offhand.....I was just about to sleep when she called me and ask me to look through my window....at first I was still trying to strain my eyes to see what on earth is going on ! To my amazed !!!! My GF was just opp my blk waving at me ! My heart stop for a second to realise it is actually real ! My heart melt and realise what true love means ! I Love You ! :)

Today will be my last day at Comwerks..time really travel so fast and it's time to move on..I really cherish the good times with my colleagues and I think I will really miss them..I really wonder how work life will be at my new company...I believe everyone has to move on when the time has come...it's now my turn and I will strive towards my goal in the next round!

It's time to update my blog and I know I have been missing in action for the longest time ! It is not that I am busy with work but just that I have no mood to blog. The year 2009 is not a good year for me....Not much advancement towards the future is what I can say currently ! Although everything is stable but then the world just stops that !

But the year 2010 will be a totally different case ! I promise myself to really work hard and advance towards double the times anyone would imagine ! Finally after 3 years of long awaiting, the Zombies are back to haunt people ! The halloween have unite and enjoyed themselves at Zouk on the 31st Oct 2009 ! It was a night with endless photo taking, we became the superstar of the night as you have to stop for photo taking every 2 steps you take ! But it was all worth while as we really scared the wits of some people when they saw us...I have officially mark Halloween as a yearly event from now onwards and hopefully the team will be greater as time goes by ! There were all sorts of Ghosts, zombies, draculas, werid costume and almost 80% of zoukers are dressed up which add in all the fun and action !

Convocation is finally arriving and is happening next Friday 28th August ! This has been a long and draggy journey when you see more and more people working around you, earning money and you are still studying.....So Finally the day has come and really looking forward to that day of celebration and a chapter of my life has complete.

I believe during my days in University has been the most fruitful one as I have really made alot of friends through Council, enjoy bit of it excepts projects & exams....Also found my true love at the 2nd year of study....so I would say this journey is the best so far ! Awaiting me will be the ups and downs of working life....hopefully life will be better and smoother !

It was an early morning with the fishing buddy who join me for his first offshore trip on a Kayak in SG !!! Morning Breakfast 0530 Ba Cho Mee and off we went for the extreme fishing trip at Sungei Buloh over at Kranji ! It was my first time exploring that place and it was rather exciting and a hardcore one.

The first thing we experiencing was muddy area all over and it was a bad launch as we have to walk through mud and dirty out kayak ! But it was well worth after we caught a Kim, Stingray and some assorted fishes....It was pretty exciting to be kayaking at the mangrove, exploring all the places around there ! Next we ventured into Sungei Buloh Nature reserve and it was where the catch rate shot up ! Josh caught the Kim and it was jumping out of the water a few times when it was caught...That was a Wild Kim and 3 cheers for team KFA !

The overall trip was a relaxing one as we paddle lightly and the distance covered was minimum...current was not strong, waster was calm and the action seems to be non-stop ! There were swarm of bait fish around and you can literally see them jumping out of the water when we kayak pass them...The bad was when we are reaching back, it was high tide and we have a hard time carrying up onshore...but nevertheless we did it and it was indeed a memorable trip with great catches...

It was another great trip that I have organized during the weekends. This time round we have Pearly, Jimmy and Mathew to join me for the expedition towards Commando Jetty for some fishing session. The place there used to be a fishing paradise ! But lately the bite rate has dropped greatly and for the whole session, I caught zero catch....But nevertheless it was still an enjoyable trip for me as I learn new friends again !

This week was rather short as we fish from 7am - 1pm and the launching site was really near. It didn't took us long before we reached our destination...Mathew was lucky enough to catch a 2kg Grouper ! and the rest mostly zero catch ! Luckily the weather was kind to us, it was cooling enough and no burnt marks was left behind after that...Looks like for the next trip, really have to plan for a good spot in order to hit on some fish groups !

Time flies past in a blink of an eye and what's up next ? Our KL trip coming soon ! Hooray !

Another weekend comes by and this time round we decided to do something new instead of the usual stuffs...we decided to have a BBQ session for 2 ! This was more of a try out session for our new BBQ pit ! It works pretty good, estimate it can serve around 4-6 people ! Preparation was abit more troublesome but we did it ! We made some simple BBQ stuffs and off we go for our wonderful evening BBQ session !

Luckily I am well trained, so starting a fire with the charcoal and starters are pretty easy stuff...the fire spread quickly across the other charcoal and it was time for barbecuing ! It was pretty cool as we have alot of onlookers watching us with our bbq pit...It was pretty innovative i feel as we can bbq almost anywhere we want ! And the price you won't believe it ! We bought it at NTUC with 20% discount, total spend around $20 !

So maybe next time having some mini gathering isn't hard afterall as we have the portable BBQ pit....and if anyone of you guys wanna rent from me.....tell me please...I charge you cheap cheap ! haaa :P Basically it was a good evening with everything slowed down by 1 step...It was really a relax and slow weekend for us.....BUT BUT what happened next was really unexpected...after we have finished around half of our food...5 minutes of heavy rain ruin everything ! Simple Everything!!!...Only 5 minutes and all our efforts are gone ! What to do...pack and throw most of the stuffs.....:( That is the most unlucky situation that might happened during a BBQ session....

NVM Better luck next time but we still enjoyed every bit of it after all :)

As early as 6am, I woke up despite having insomnia the previous night ! Get ready everything and off I went for the next kayak expedition trip ! Managed to catch the sunrise and as usual it lasted less than five minutes..The whole journey was cooling, relax as the weather was prefect and total distance covered was around 10km ! It should be consider one of the relaxed trip !

Having to wake up that early on an weekend seriously is not easy, but I do not know why there is a force and motivation within me that keeps me going every time I set out for kayak fishing ! This time round was a little more well prepared ! The rod holder was finally put into use and the whole sequence gets easier each time as I was more familiarised.

The catch was bad this time round but overall expierence is good as the weather is cooling and the sea is calm for paddling ! Manged to catch a stone fish and a helicopter fish....Both Useless ! No big takes and that is disappointing ! Hopefully the next trip will produce better catches....Another week appraoches us and is time for work again ! Hai ! Life's a routine !....

It was a night of guard duty from 10pm-9am and seriously, it has been quite a long time since I have stay up for the whole bloody night ! This was suppose to be a Mediacorp event that promotes saving the earth, using less energy, electricity etc....So the contestant are suppose to stay inside the cubicle of their own for 24 hours using the least amount of energy..and our duty of course is to make sure they adhere to the rules and don't punk during the entire challenge...

Basically most of them turn off their aircon and using only fan as the main form of ventilation...it was really out to win the grand prize of $3000 ! For me and Jefre was basically catching up and talking about the next phase of life....Time flies past in a blink of an eye....and the next minute you may be somewhere else in your life...So the main important will be about "planning" Without planning, most people tend to fail...With proper planning, alot of things gets easier and thus goal will be achieved....

Pretty busy lately and I hope this coming week will be back to my kayaking mode ! With or Without Robert, the trip has to continue somehow...lets forward to Friday then TGIF !!!! Cheers!

This is the 2nd trip for KFA and this time was with Ian aka Pearly ! I would consider this trip as a sea expedition as the total distance clocked was 20KM to and fro ! It was a super long and never ending journey but it was really a testing of will power to us...Journey was fun and trilling as we faced quite a number of obstacles...Choppy water, strong current, white waters etc....We were quite in a panicked state when we hit the choppy current near Hyundai Bay..1 stroke of paddle, the current will push you back by 3 stroke.....

At one point, the current was strong until we were drifting from one location to another very quickly..The end point was Changi Naval Base and we fished there for quite some time until the siren sound out and we were forced to leave that place ! It was definitely a good experience with Pearly and we did learnt alot of new tricks with him...Despite his age of 43 years old, he is still going strong and whacking the sea every week without fail ! I hoped when I am at his age, I would have that kind of energy though !

Although the trip was rather long and alot of time was spent on paddling, but it is a valuable lesson learnt and perhaps the next few subsequent trip, we will clock lesser distance and aim for bigger catch ! The best part was waking u[ at 0530am in the morning and going back ar nearly 4pm ! I think I just lost 2kg !!! It was seriously a weight loss cum healthy sports to go ahead ! I felt 1 kayaking trip is equivalent to 2 times gym session ! It was rather tiring and the arm power must be there to meet the tough requirements ! And of course next day, fully brunt ! Haaa

Overall catch was not too good, I hit on a squid and miss a big todak ! At leat one arm's length ! He chop off my line with his nasty razor sharp teeth and that leave me with nothing ! Pearly got a mid-size queenie and Robert 0 catch ! Although Robert claims that he miss alot of "Biggies " haa :P

Have you ever received a Black Box before ? For me Yesh I did ! Af first I thought it was a bomb ! or perhaps some people want to trick me ! But I would never imagine it was exactly a surprised gift by my Lovely Dovely :) A black box full of tibits !!! Specially courier to my company ! Really speechless ! But at the same time really feel appreciated that got someone from another world love me so much ! HAA :P

The Black Box consists of so many different snacks..ranging from Pocky, mentos, Yam Yam, Uncle Toby, sweets...etc.....All my favourites ! Really quite "touch" although the black box looks quite unpleasing haa I think all the snacks can at least me for 1 month....It was actually I have skipped quite a few lunch lately..that DD decided that she should do something about it....

Team KFA has finally made its first offshore trip on Sunday 07/06/2009. It marked the first ever trip made in history and there will be only more in the future ! Reaching Changi at around 1pm, we have to get ready everything and the approximate setup time is around 30mins. That includes pumping of the boat, launching etc.... Although the whole process is very tiring, but I guess we enjoyed every bit of it because we were so nervous to try on our battle kayak to sea.

It was not long after we finished everything and launch the boat, the virgin trip was a learning experience for us and there are "cock ups" here and there. The first to happen was Robert, Just when he launched his boat, have not even reach 5mins, I heard a sound "Dom" There goes Robert's newly purchase rod and his frearm 4500 ! and it was actually quite deep so after some search, we gave up ! Robert change to his handline instead ! So first lesson learnt ! Always tied down your equipment no matter what ! Being boat trained in Army, I am quite familiar with all these stuffs, so it appears to be a breeze for me....Not long after, Robert lost one of his slippers ! Never learnt his lesson ! Haa

It was after some paddling and the sky turns dark and it look as though a "storm" is approaching ! We managed to row all the way back shore and rested for a while. Next I introduced Robert to my favourite spot...Commando Jetty ! where I used to have all the boat trainings over that side, so I know it is a good place to fish ! It was just after 10mins of fishing and Robert got the first Strike ! His handline skill has put into good use ! He shouted " Tua He ! Tua He ! " Over excitement, I quickly row to his side and watch the action...The fish get pulled up quite fast due to Robert's heavy duty handline.....And it was a "CHERMIN" Nice table size chermin up by Robert !

BUT ! Robert took his own sweet time trying to use his newly bought Bogagrip on the chermin and best part was.....the fish still at the side of the boat ! I shouted to Robert "Pull the fish up your kayak then unhook !" It seems like it fall on deaf ears to Robert and halfway while unhooking...the fish fall back into the sea....and both of us was dumbfolded...all the excitement was gone..!!! But still believing that the Chermin group is around, I quickly whacked 2 prawns down....within minutes, my line came screaming ! line out so fast that I was shocked ! I swear that it was a super good fight on my kayak ! maybe because I am using light tackle ! It took 5 minutes for me to pull up that fellow ! Cool Shit ! Team KFA scores 2 !

The whole trip was relaxing although the bad weather does gave us some hindrance ! But ultimately the first trip is a great trip, merely 3 hours of fishing, we already hit 2 chermins ! Team KFA certainly got a long way to go...and also waiting for its other team member to join back ! You guys know who you are ! Next trip will be a better trip ! I promised ! Cheers !

The “New” Toy has finally arrived! It is dated 4^th June 2009 and this day shall mark the birth of Team KFA! We are ultimately excited of the arrival of our kayaks and haven been waiting for this day to reach. This little machine is not small at all, in fact it weights 20KG and it's the size of a luggage bag. Having to tow back home is no easy job but I believed it acts as a form of weight training for us :P

Too excited with my purchase, the minute I reached home, Unpacked the kayak and starting pumping into its full shape. The little machine just looks magnificent and just by admiring at it will be enough. It takes up the full length of my room and the measurement is around 13^tFEET. Imagine taking him out sea is no jokes at all…you really need a lot of energy to pump and launch it.

It takes around 10 minutes to be fully pumped and ready for the launch, but I believe practice makes perfect…In time to come, I target it to be around 5 minutes :) The faster we launched, means more fishing time! While I am busy pumping, one small kid is just as excited as me, jumping around and going in and out of my kayak…He is Kayden ! I believed 1 day, my kayak will be destroyed by him ! Haa

The new "Toy" has already arrived ! Went all the way to IMM to view the imported Kayaks and Oh Gosh ! It is unbelievable ! Although spent much time finding the unit but it was worth it...The sight of the Kayaks sent blood rushing into my brain ! Simply seeing the Kayaks inflat less then 10 minutes is indeed amazing ! Most importantly the material and quality are top notch ! Even a hook will be hard to puncture the kayak....More importantly, it has 9 air chambers which means you need to puncture 9 of them in order to sunk the kayak !

Already placed a deposit to secure my kayak and within this 2 weeks, collection is anytime ! Now the major part is to modify some of the extra components that are not factory fitted ! E.g Rod holder, compartments, Fish finder etc....This is getting so exciting, we are going to set the trend in SG !...Forgot to include, Robert is with me getting the same kayak ! We will start the ball rolling before the rest will join us shortly !

It was a 3 days 2 nights trip to Bintan and it was a rather good bonding session with the family...Finally some time for me to take a short rest before the busy moments hits me once again...Although it is quite sad that I miss the HK business trip but guess there are more upcoming...The sun was blazing and the air is still, this is what I call "Summer" and I was rather excited having to enjoy the sunshine moments with my family.

Staying at one of the Villas at Bintan Lagoon was a great experience, although there are no buggy rides attached to our villa but nevertheless the place was rather spacious and room for quite a number of us...The time was ticking slowly and it is really enjoying having to relax, doing the things I wanted. 2 night of continuous fishing brings some luck to us, caught a shovel Nose Shark and some other edible fishes...the fishing experience was a unforgettable one, there are so many fish at Bintan...but the negative areas are the things there are just way too expensive...1 ATV ride can easily cost you $80-$100 !

It was a fun filled holiday for the family and little Kayden is happy as well, having to explore different areas everytime...That's for all at the moment...

It was a night of laughter, re-union, new faces and Fun ! RMIT Council 1st Annual DND definitely make its mark for the 1st time in history..The team has done a good job, so do the whole council, having step down for quite some time already, but still have the strong feel towards council. Been in the group since 2006 has been a great journey for me. Making new friends, learning more new things while studying all contributes to the strong character of me.

Although there are alot of new faces I have not seen before, but having the Strong fleet of councillors simply make the group looks magnificent....I believe as each generation comes by, it will become stronger and powerful..The long night of continuous games, laughter simply makes the crowd wild, but poor for those who have to work the next day ! But indeed it is an enjoyable evening with all the old friends ! Once again Good Job !

Bintan Tomorrow ! Yea ! Time for a short break before the busy period hits me big time !

It is coming ! Shipment arrived on the 30th ! Oh Gosh, nobody can believe it but it is happening real soon. All the adventure is going to set in. It's time get a hell load of adventure paddle ! Seriously I believed it is a good investment, because its hobbies + training ! Kill two bird in one stone. It's hard to believe anyone will every do that in SG....It's time to set the trend and be the pioneers ! May my fishing brothers join me in this expedition and enjoy to their max !

So far, Robert is been poison deadly, it has already reached his heart ! The mods and fish finder will be settled by Robert while I will settle the rest of the mods. Next stage will get denzil, marcus to fall into this poison circle as well....then a group os form !

For now "Kayak Fishing" is already hallucinating in me all the while..Just can't stop thinking of it and the fun that I can get if I am able to get to those inaccessible area with this powerful kayak ! It paddles like a dream and won't capsize easily! But since it is not an exactly cheap investment, I have to do alot research and make sure my decision and investment is worth while...I will not regret after purchasing it !

I believed for those fishing enthusiastic, it seems like a dream comes true but the only problems that they might faced would properly be the price of it, whether it is durable, can it withstand the waves etc.....I think I will have to do a full review in order to convince everybody ! This new sports is picking up in SG and I strongly believe that if the price is lower...we will see more people having this little machine...but been the pioneer and minority actually can be a good thing also :P Alrite time to save up.........:)

Hope to get this "Toy" very soon in the future ! This is the whole new inflatable Kayak from US and its fast, save storage space, transportation is easy also !....and the purpose for it is not to kayak LOL !!! Josh you influence me lah !!! This whole new sports actually is very popular in other countries...but in Singapore it is picking up as quite a number have bought their own kayak and go for their expedition trips....

So what is it used for ? Ans: Hardcore Fishing Adventure around open waters in SG !!!

With the help of the Fish Finder, actually fishing makes easier and also much more fun and adventurous...Been stuck on the land for sooo many years...I think its time to move on......But for those who are interested ! Sunday has always been a relax day with most people lazing around at home, sleeping until 12pm ! Until the sun shining onto your butt...But for me, its a little bit difference..I cherished my Sunday or even weekend and would like to spend it fruitfully. Now I actually experience life with Monday - Friday slogging for work and weekend is the best time around where you can spent with your love ones and enjoy each other company totally.....

Now I have already fix every Sunday to be a Sports and Wellness Day...We will go Swimming, Jogging at our favourite Upper Seleter Park and maybe Gyming ! And also not to forget my part time "Fishing" as a kind of sports too ! Its gonna be a real fruitful day if I can achieve all these at one shot. Can I ? Of course that will depends on the weather and maybe also the "GF" wanna go anot haaa :p

Inspired by Joshgofish.blogspot.com, I actually asked my DD to create a movie for today also since we actually caught something haa ! But really I think Singapore is small until even the fishes around are so small...so pathethic...The outside world is much more better ! Josh ! I am practically very busy this few weeks all the way until 8th May....Life is tough having to manage so many things at one time...but I guess that's life...if you don't live a tough life...you won't go far in future....So I am going to set great challenge for myself ! Frankly speaking living simple is a great thing but in Singapore I guess it's not that easy to live simple...there are far more competition in the market.

From my view, living simple is really in those kampong village, living a simple life, rearing dogs, chickens...Go out to fish for a living...that's really what I want if I said "Simple" If not...life shall not be that simple after all...You only live once ! So live the fullest out of it ! Strive and work hard for your goal set ! Do not look back ! Keep moving forward !

I really hope I can achieve what I want in the near future....The future becomes clearer and clearer and I know where I am heading to.......... :)

Very recent, we went to a nearby kelong at Malaysia...It was a fun filled outing that I had with my good friends and sure it was a fruitful trip for all of us ! I am assure that it was even a better trip for the girls who went because the place was quite ruin and was not that well established..maybe after viewing the photos..You will know why.

The Kelong trip was a memorable one and I believe for those fishingkaki, they enjoyed much although not many big fish was caught. For those majong kaki..I think 24 Hours also not enough for them....I am really surprise now those majong kaki can stick their butt to the chair for soooo long...It was really an amazing sight...

After all the food was not bad after all and lodging wise, for the guys I am assure it was no problem..maybe for the girls...it was rather dirty haa....All for merely $65 for a 2 days 1 night trip....Worth it ! Maybe next time round, someone else could be the organiser ! It was a good weekend at some rural area...leaving away all the Emails, work at home...How I wished there are more of these good weekends !.....

So Our next new investment is actually a new Multi-Function DVD Head unit.....I actually cannot imagine me in purchasing it..as I don't usually touch my I.C.E...too expensive to play with..but this time round, after good review of the product and also its good function..I have decided to give it a go ! Partly also due to initially I wanted to purchase a GPS system but it was almost costing 300-400 for one...after much research and consideration...managed to find this product which is 10 times more function and also powerful...thereby decided to try it out...

To start with, the Head unit is coated with a cool black color paint with a wide 7 inch Touch-Screen monitor for you to play around with...By its outlook, you should be satisfied..Did I mention also it is a china made product...but don't rate it 1st because of the country made ! Next it is also equipped with a GPS navigation system..imagine on a 7 inch screen...and not on those pathetic 3 inch screen....Not to say also...with its bluetooth function...now you can safety make any calls without worries....

Next, TV tuner is an additional bonus to me...as how many of you all will watch TV in a car rite..?+ also the reception is not exactly fantastic..but nevertheless..I find it a good additional function...DVD, VCD, CD, CD-R are also part of the function.....Also, a IPOD cable for you to connect to your favourite Ipod !!! USE cable, SD slot....to give you endless connectivity !

So simply to say...it is a multi function machine that can bring ease to alot drivers out there...if you want a unit there is ALl in ONE ! Yesh ! you have found it...and at a very affordable price....Of course I have to mention also...I do not sell the product...but just to share around good lobangs with my good friends ! As the sayings goes...Good Stuffs cannot Bluff !!! Last thing I would comment on is...if you would wanna compare with those branded headunit...you better not ! because it seldom comes with the all in one package...usually only DVD alone.....

My Inspiration of a new revamp blog came by when I attended Blogout 2009..It was an experience I had that brings me to another level to actually know what social media is all about. Blogout 2009 is organised by Tdm.sg and it has already become a annual event...hopefully to grow bigger after every year...So what is actually Social Media ? Social Media is a marketing tool that are used by trendy companies that knows how to grab hold of their consumer appetite.

Traditional Media like TV advertising, Magazines etc...are slowly losing its powers....but it is still the strongest marketing pull used by most business...But little do people know that nowadays a normal person at least spent more than 5 hours a day online...That is why the new social media has move towards the online community...Facebook, Friendster, Twitter are examples of social media tool that actually allows so many people to go crazy for them.

Nowadays, These type of social media tool are not for solely to make friends online, but rather to gather a community or even bring people together for certain reason....Facebook is 1 great example of them and even old people also play facebook...it has not limit to only young people that goes crazy for all these media...There's certainly a reason behind it.....Friendster Era has gone...I have to admit and I have to move on as well...to the new Facebook...Lets see how long it can last....normally this type of trend won't last more than 2 years...:)

Hi Everyone, this is my new and totally revamp blog. This change, I wonder how long it can last me. My previous blog has last me for more than 2 years...That's pretty too long alrite !..A sudden decision to change the entire blog came across my mind when I was attending BlogOut 2009. It just suddenly stuck me that I need to do something to my blog, because I am getting more and more lazy to even post a message.

Looking back, if you see the 1st entry..it was by the year of 2001 !! Can you believe it ? I tried to start a blog 8 years ago, which I guess I am in my poly days..But it was not successful as that day, blogging was not as popular. But it was a good start and the link http://accelus.blogspot.com/ stuck there for years...already having all the cobwebs all over.....It was not until in the year of 2006, I tried to start my blog again but I have forgotten the password....so http://acceluz.blogspot.com/ came into place....

Acceluz was never suppose to be the name of the blog...but no choice it is the closest it can get. After another 3 years....2009, I have official decided to change to hits URL and everything to be start anew...no transferring of previous entries into here. Everything NEW !!! I will post reguarly and that's a good start for everything !
